PHYSICIANS
Keith E. Penney, MD
Dr.
Penney is a board certified orthopedic surgeon who has been
in private practice since June 2001. His training began at
Cornell University
with a BA degree in Anatomy and Physiology. He received his
MD degree from the SUNY Health Science Center at Brooklyn.
He completed his surgical
internship at Rhode Island Hospital
and his orthopaedic residency at New York Medical College in
Valhalla, NY. He then pursued a Shoulder and Sports Medicine
Fellowship at
Duke University, where he was a team physician for NCAA division
I and III athletes. Dr. Penney was named as a "Top Doc" in
Orthopedics by Connecticut
Magazine.
Dr. Penney is
a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and
is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.
He is a member of the Connecticut State Medical Society and
the Connecticut Orthopaedic
Society. He provides team coverage for many local area high
schools and is a team physician for the Nutmeg Conservatory
for the Arts and
the Torrington Twisters summer league college baseball team.

ASSISTANT
William Broadhurst, PA-C
William
Broadhurst is a certified Physican's Assistant. His education began
at Western Connecticut State University where he graduated on the
Dean's List. He then attended the Physician Assistant's Program at
SUNY Stony Brook. He has been in practice as a PA for the past five
years and been an integral part of this office since February, 2005.
Bill is also a Certified Radiologic Technologist.
Mr. Broadhurst is an active member of the American Academy of Physician's Assistants,
the Physican's Assistants in Orthopaedic Surgery and the American Registry
of Radiologic Technologists.
