Keith E. Penney, MD

Dr. Penney is a board certified orthopedic surgeon who has been in private practice since June 2001. His training began at Cornell University with a BA degree in Anatomy and Physiology. He received his MD degree from the SUNY Health Science Center at Brooklyn. He completed his surgical internship at Rhode Island Hospital and his orthopaedic residency at New York Medical College in Valhalla, NY. He then pursued a Shoulder and Sports Medicine Fellowship at Duke University, where he was a team physician for NCAA division I and III athletes. Dr. Penney was named as a "Top Doc" in Orthopedics by Connecticut Magazine.

Dr. Penney is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He is a member of the Connecticut State Medical Society and the Connecticut Orthopaedic Society. He provides team coverage for many local area high schools and is a team physician for the Nutmeg Conservatory for the Arts.
